Engage with your team members and ensure they understand not just what they are supposed to be doing, but WHY. Follow up with an email to your team highlighting a few of the main points or top priorities related to your Mission Statement and ensure they are all on the same page.  


Look for an opportunity to engage with your leadership and offer some solutions to challenges they may be facing. Take the initiative and find a way to lead up the chain and create value.


Be default aggressive with a problem you have. Don’t wait for the perfect time to make a needed change. Attack it now and solve it.


Assess your relationships with your co-workers. The relationships you need to work on are with the people you don’t get along with. Put your ego aside, approach them, and find a way to work together.
