“Codey did a phenomenal job of using his experience in the Marine Corp, and with Echelon Front, to tie together the true meaning of leadership with battling complacency and taking ownership for one’s actions. His final talking point, “If not you, then who?” was a battle cry for the 1,700 craft workers in attendance to take Extreme Ownership for their own safety and the safety of those around them. Codey is a great speaker and a true asset to your team!”

- Phillip Browning, Corporate Training Manager, Rosendin

“There isn't a single word I could use to describe the training cadre for FTX! My entire team would agree they are all a class act! The debriefs after each event were full of passion, life experience, and lasting words that our team can apply every day!”

- Hi Crush Inc.

“Codey has been phenomenal throughout the training process. He is always available for guidance and to bounce ideas off of. He does a really great job of listening, analyzing, and explaining approaches. There have been a few occasions where I have reached out to Codey to discuss a challenging management scenario, and he always provides great guidance. I cannot say enough positive things about Codey.”
“Codey is so passionate and knowledgeable – you can tell he really eats, sleeps, and breathes Extreme Ownership.  Our sessions with him have been awesome at bringing the material to life.”

Being a parent is the most important leadership role I’ll ever hold. I’ve led Marines, coached teams, and advised organizations, but nothing tests your consistency, patience, and influence like leading your family. Whether you’re leading a sports team, a business unit, or a military platoon, the role of the coach is the same: develop people, elevate performance, and drive results. When I look back on my time in the Marine Corps, being selected for promotion was always a goal. I was constantly searching for more—more responsibility, more opportunities, more insight into what was happening and how I could help the people or organization move forward. Along the way, I gained
Employee skill gaps are not just numbers on a report; they are the distance between where your team is and where they need to be. This gap can stem from rapid technological changes, evolving job roles, and a need for proper training. As leaders, it’s our job to identify and
In the realm of leadership, the concept of detachment is often misunderstood. Traditionally associated with a lack of care or disengagement, true detachment in leadership is a strategic tool that enables leaders to maintain objectivity, make informed decisions, and effectively prioritize tasks. This approach not only enhances personal leadership skills
The Marine Corps culture is well documented. The culture is strong; the culture is intense, and the culture sets the standard of what it takes every day to serve and survive in the Marines. Every military branch, every company, and every team has a culture; some are great, some are
During my time in the Marine Corps, I quickly realized that micromanagement was a pervasive aspect of leadership. Regardless of where I was stationed or what I was doing, I constantly observed leaders resorting to micromanagement as their go-to solution for the problems they faced. Upon transitioning to Echelon Front,
Knowing how to practice self-discipline is a highly sought-after skill. We all see the benefits that discipline can provide. Yet, mastering self-discipline is a daunting task. It requires effort, patience, time, and sacrifice, which typically deter us from implementation. This essential skill can transform your personal and professional life, leading
