Cordell Bennigson is a seasoned business leader, executive coach, and leadership instructor and operating advisor with Echelon Front who helps individuals and teams grow, adapt, and perform at their best.
Cordell's leadership foundation was forged as a U.S. Marine Corps officer and aviator. Serving as an AV-8B Harrier pilot and Forward Air Controller, Cordell deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom with the First Marine Division and Task Force Tripoli during the fight to Baghdad and into Tikrit. He left the Marine Corps at the rank of Major, and builds on those experiences to help ground his leadership perspective.
Cordell has spent the past two decades as a senior business leader, serving a wide range of industries and businesses. He led organizations across the United States and internationally, spanning operations, manufacturing, strategy, and commercial functions, ultimately leading multiple private equity– and venture-backed companies as CEO and COO. As an executive, he guided organizations through growth, cultural transformation, market disruption, and successful acquisitions, delivering measurable results in demanding operating environments.

As a leadership instructor, operating advisor, and trained executive coach, Cordell bringing lived experience to a practical, principle-based leadership approach rooted in Extreme Ownership. He works closely with senior leaders and executive teams to strengthen alignment, sharpen prioritization, and drive consistent execution. His coaching focuses on restoring ownership at every level, enabling leaders to make better decisions, build trust, and lead effectively under pressure.
In addition to his operating experience, Cordell has served on the boards of public, private, and nonprofit organizations, which has further informed his work with executive teams and boards. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and completed executive education at the MIT Sloan School of Business. Cordell currently serves as CEO of R2 Wireless U.S., leading the expansion of spectrum sensing and electromagnetic dominance solutions for defense and critical infrastructure.
Originally from Boston, Cordell has lived and worked around the world. He continues to pursue a strong commitment to health, fitness, and leadership. He and his wife, Jennifer, have been married for 30 years and have three grown children.
