Jason Gardner is a retired U.S. Navy SEAL Command Master Chief, combat leader, and seasoned leadership instructor at Echelon Front, bringing three decades of hard-earned experience to the leaders and organizations he serves.
Jason served for 30 years in the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams, deploying to combat operations in Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. As an enlisted operator, he led at every level of tactical leadership before ascending to executive-level roles within the SEAL Teams.
As Command Master Chief of SEAL Team Five and NSW Training Detachment, Jason put Extreme Ownership into practice. He set standards for combat readiness and trained troops to prepare for the chaos and complexity of the battlefield. He witnessed the success of these principles firsthand as he led a team to accomplish its mission.
Since retiring from the Navy, Jason has worked with hundreds of organizations as a senior leadership instructor with Echelon Front. He often works with frontline teams in demanding industries to build leaders at every level. His teaching applies Extreme Ownership to authentic stories from the battlefield, workplace, and home to demonstrate their successful application.
Jason lives with his wife and two children in rural Northeastern Washington, where he enjoys working on his homestead, fishing, planting trees, and spending time in nature.
